George believes in helping players reach their goals by developing their own unique golfing DNA. His coaching philosophy takes a “Key Hole Surgery” approach—making small, individualised changes that enhance performance without disrupting a player’s natural style.
He uses tools like Trackman and Video Analysis to deliver accurate, data-driven feedback, helping players create effective training habits and routines that lead to long-term success. George is passionate about tailoring every lesson to the individual, recognising that every player’s journey is different.
Based in South Wales, George provides expert coaching to players of all abilities—from beginners to elite-level amateurs—through Elite Golf Academies. Whether you're looking to build a solid foundation or take your game to the next level, he offers some of the most progressive golf lessons in South Wales.
George Burnett turned professional in 2018 following a standout amateur career, which included winning the Wales Schools Championship in 2016 and earning a scholarship to Rogers State University in Oklahoma, USA.
He began his PGA training under former European Tour player Liam Bond at The Liam Bond Golf Academy. After qualifying, he returned to his home club, St. Pierre, where he coached a wide range of golfers and launched a successful 3-stage Junior Academy, producing multiple county players and low-handicap juniors.
As part of the Elite Golf Academies team, George continues to develop his coaching through Hugh Marr’s CMAS programme and ongoing collaboration with top coaches worldwide. He also works independently under the name George Burnett Golf, contributing to the growth of high-performance coaching in South Wales.
